Other Bills, (updated 12/08/09)
There are two major health care reform bills being considered in Congress. The first is Sub H.R. 3590, which is titled the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Substitute H.R. 3590. The second bill is H.R. 3962 and is titled the House of Representative's Healthcare Reform Bill.
In addition to the major pieces of legislation being considered, several other bills regarding healthcare reform have been submitted in both houses of Congress. While it doesn't appear that any of these bills will be fully considered, it is possible that components of these bills might be used in the final legislation. Also, several of these bills address certain aspects of healthcare and may be voted on separately from major healthcare reform bills.
